Spark

Sharing the lyrics to one of my favourite Tori Amos songs...enjoy

"Spark"

She's addicted to nicotine patches
She's addicted to nicotine patches
She's afraid of the light in the dark
6:58 are you sure where my spark is
Here
Here
Here

She's convinced she could hold back a glacier
But she couldn't keep Baby alive
Doubting if there's a woman in there somewhere
Here

You say you don't want it again
And again but you don't really mean it
You say you don't want it
This circus we're in
But you don't you don't really mean it
You don't really mean it
if the Divine master plan is perfection
Maybe next I'll give Judas a try
Trusting my soul to the ice cream assassin
Here

You say you don't want it again
And again but you don't really mean it
You say you don't want it
This cirucs we're in
But you don't you don't really mean it
You don't really mean it
How may fates turn around in the overtime
Ballerinas that have fins that you'll never find
You thought that you were the bomb yeah
Well so did I
Say you don't want it
Say you don't want it
Say you don't want it again
And again but you don't really mean it
Say you don't want it
This circus we're in
But you don't you don't really mean it
You don't really mean it

She's addicted to nicotine patches
She's afraid of the light in the dark
6:58 are you sure where my spark is
Here

Selling The Drama

Man there was a time in my life when I used to worship the band LIVE, Throwing Copper was one of the very first CD's I actually bought. I haven't really listened to them for quite some time, and just getting back into their early stuff I've realised how bloody awesome and amazing it is! SING IT LOUD MAN!

Dissolved Girl

Dissolved Girl by Massive Attack

Shame, such a shame
I think I kind of lost myself again
Day, yesterday
Really should be leaving but I stay

Say, say my name
I need a little love to ease the pain
I need a little love to ease the pain
It's easy to remember when it came

'Cause it feels like I've been
I've been here before
You are not my savior
But I still don't go

Feels like something
That I've done before
I could fake it
But I still want more

Fade, made the fade
Passion's overrated anyway
Say, say my name
I need a little love to ease the pain
I need a little love to ease the pain
It's easy to remember when it came

'Cause it feels like I've been
I've been here before
You are not my savior
But I still don't go, oh

I feel live something
That I've done before
I could fake it
But I still want more, oh.

The QUEEN is BACK!

Yes thats right, the QUEEN is BACK!

Madonna has just released her latest album Hard Candy and I have to say....

I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!

I was unsure about it, with the direction she was headed with it, but DAYUM, Madge has pulled it off yet again! I pretty much love all the tracks on it (I listened to it three times straight!) and I think the ones which might possibly be early favourites are Miles Away and Dance 2Night.

I think Confessions is a better album, but this comes pretty damn close to that one. More listens will be required of course, and I might change my mind on some songs as I did with Confessions. But I am SOOOOOOO happy she has delivered! BIATCH IS BACK IN BUSINESS! I'm hoping the album sells well, because it is WORTH IT!

LISTEN AND LEARN!!

To Venus And Back

Love this album, finally got it again!

Suede

suede you always felt like suede
there are days i feel your twin
peekaboo hiding underneath your skin
jets are revving yes revving
and this has power over me not because
you feel something
or don't feel something for me
but because mass so big
it can swallow swallow her whole star intact
call me 'evil' call me
'tide is on your side' anything that you want
anybody knows you can conjure anything
by the dark side of the moon boy and if
you keep your silence silencer on
you'll talk yourself right into a job
out of a hole into my bayou
i'm sure that you've been briefed my
absorption lines they are frayed and i fear
my fear is greater than my faith
but i walk the missionary way
you always felt like suede
there are days i am your twin
peekaboo hiding underneath your skin
jets are revving yes revving from
an ether twist
call me 'evil' little sister i guess
i'd do the same little sister
you'll forgive me one day

Listening to the sounds of...

Tom Waits

After checking out Down By Law again recently, I had the urge to listen to some Tom Waits, I adore his voice I have to say. His music certainly isn't for everyone, I find him an aquired taste but I love it. Last two days I've been listening to...

...and both are excellent, just love them! Not sure I have any favourite tracks at the moment, I am enjoying them all.

I'm trying to track down the Down By Law soundtrack, not sure where I might find it.

Hedwig And The Angry Inch

3/5

Weird movie, not much of a storyline, well not enough anyway. Kind of wanted a bit more out of it. The whole telling the story to the music was done really well though, the music was good. John Cameron Mitchell looked like the male version of Rachel Griffiths, which was a bit weird. Michael Pitt is adorable and should have been in it more. Hard to recommend this, but if you like these kinds of movies, you'd get something out of it.

Here it comes...bad music video!

Okay so I love this song, but this music video is actually really bad! Someone should teach her how to move, seriously lol

I'd say it is a perfect example of what not to do in a music video! But hey the song is awesome, and the Hook 'n' Sling remix is even better!
