The results

Well I went to the doctors and my x-rays came back fine, everything looks like it should lol it said my spine is curved, I do have the swan spine posture, nothing that can be done there. So there are obviously other problems affecting my back. The doctor ordered a blood test so I got that done, I'll go there in two weeks and see what it says. I also had dose one of three of the cervical cancer vaccine, and then also in two weeks I get my 2nd ever pap smear, what fun lol!

Got a new dress today, reduced from $20 to $11 which was good. Got some knee length tights, with some lace on the bottom, they had 2 for $20 so me and Mum got one each, and I got a $6 tank top. Mum bought a few things, a really nice skirt brown and blue which was $39 reduced to $22, good deal there.

Well I had the x-rays, they'll be sent to my doctor tomorrow afternoon and I have an appointment on Thursday morning so I'll find out then what is going on.

Work was a killer today, my back was so bad but I did power on and I managed. Hopefully I fare better tomorrow eh?

X-Rays

Well I have an appointment to get some back X-Rays done tomorrow, so might actually get some answers about my bad back and then some treatment can be done. *fingers crossed*

An awesome good time of a movie.

After watching it for a second time, it still is an awesome good time of a movie. I still prefer Shaun Of The Dead but this comes pretty close. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are hilarious, they work so bloody well together and this type of movie just fits them perfectly.



Silence Of The Lambs

Now this is an example of how to make a good serial killer movie. I guess it helps you have Jodie Foster in one of her best roles (The Accused & Taxi Driver come to mind too) and Anthony Hopkins truly chilling as Hannibal Lector. The actual serial killer itself is rather interesting, I guess we have Ed Gein to thank for that. While this might be everyones favourite Hannibal movie, I do love Manhunter. Brian Cox as Hannibal has to be seen. One of the films best moment has to be the part in the dark, of course for those who haven't seen it, you just have to experience it. Naturally the other highlights are Starling and Lectors scenes.

Well folks, it is one month until Christmas so I thought why not, lets put the Christmas tree up! And yes so I did! It isn't big tree so it didn't take long, and put the lights on and all the ornaments and tinsel thingys hehe. So check out my Christmas tree and see how cool it is! Took me long enough to actually sit down and watch this. Pretty much what I expected, how can you go wrong with the likes of Al Pacino, Johnny Depp, Michael Madsen (Yes I like him) and Bruno Kirby to name a few? Well simply you can't, and what you get is the true story about an FBI agent who infiltrates the mob basically at all costs (Almost loses his family ect..) It is interesting to see how he starts off and how far in he actually gets. Some of my favourite moments were the ones in Florida, I thought that was done extremely well. One thing which bugged me, we find out what happened to Joe but not to the mobsters, I would have liked some closure in that aspect but overall it was handled well.

Dance for me Demi, DANCE!

So yeah this is not a good movie, but it is highly enjoyable in that oh so lovely way of so bad it is good. The acting is horrible, especially by Burt Reynolds! Demi isn't that bad, she actually looks and dances sexy in it (Unlike Elizabeth Berkley in Showgirls who doesn't know what sexy is) and her dances aren't bad actually. The whole storyline is really silly and the execution is even sillier. Bad casting as well with Rumur Willis, I'm sorry but she can't act and she looks like someone tried to put a fire out on her face with a screw driver and that is me being nice!

Not as fantastic as Showgirls but still a great guilty pleasure movie. I love Demi's dance in the towel, I totally do that all the time!

I'm not dead!

Yeah I am alive, I haven't been online much so I haven't been blogging. I haven't watched any movies so there hasn't been any reviews to post! Unfortunately for me, my back is in bad shape and it really limits the time I can spend on the PC, so if I have been a ghost I'm sorry.

So whats new? Not much really, went to a street fair on Sunday, got sun burnt. Mum bought me a little ginger cat ornament for $5, its called River Jr because it looks like River. She didn't want to buy me the one that looked like Billy, grrr. We haven't done much this week, my bad back prevents me from doing much.

Been watching shows, catching up on shows, playing Scrabble on facebook and yes most of the time my ass is getting handed to me. Played trivial pursuit last night with Mum, it was a close game but she was ahead most of the time and she won, thats twice in a row! At least I beat her twice in a row at Trouble! Hehe!

So anyway here is a photo of me I took on Sunday, I look okayish.
