Teeth

4/5

Its a movie about a girl who has a toothed vagina, how could it be bad? Considering thats what the film is about you'd expect it to be something else, but as it turns out, its a really good movie! The script is pretty good, the acting is great, I loved Jess Weixler, she was so good. There are funny moments, and some scenes might seen rather silly but the way they've actually done it, it just works so well. I think the less you know about this the better, I knew barely anything going in and I think it just made it all the more better. Highly recommended.

Like A Virgin

How I love this scene from Reservoir Dogs

"
Let me tell you what 'Like a Virgin' is about. It's all about a girl who digs a guy with a big dick. The entire song. It's a metaphor for big dicks." - Mr. Brown

"
No, no. It's about a girl who is very vulnerable. She's been fucked over a few times. Then she meets some guy who's really sensitive..." - Mr. Blonde

"
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa... Time out Greenbay. Tell that fucking bullshit to the tourists." - Mr. Brown

"
Toby... Who the fuck is Toby? Toby... " - Joe

"
'Like a Virgin' is not about this nice girl who meets a nice fella. That's what "True Blue" is about, now, granted, no argument about that" - Mr. Brown

"
Which one is 'True Blue'?" - Mr. Orange

"
'True Blue' was a big ass hit for Madonna. I don't even follow this Tops In Pops shit, and I've at least heard of "True Blue"." - Nice Guy Eddie

"
Look, asshole, I didn't say I ain't heard of it. All I asked was how does it go? Excuse me for not being the world's biggest Madonna fan. Personally, I can do without her. " - Mr. Orange

"
I like her early stuff. You know, 'Lucky Star', 'Borderline' - but once she got into her 'Papa Don't Preach' phase, I don't know, I tuned out." Mr. Blue

"
Hey, you guys are making me lose my... train of thought here. I was saying something, what was it?" - Mr. Brown

"
Oh, Toby was this Chinese girl, what was her last name?" - Joe

"
What's that?" - Mr. White

"
I found this old address book in a jacket I ain't worn in a coon's age. What was that name?" - Joe

"
What the fuck was I talking about?" - Mr. Brown

"
You said 'True Blue' was about a nice girl, a sensitive girl who meets a nice guy, and that 'Like a Virgin' was a metaphor for big dicks." Mr. Pink

"
Lemme tell you what 'Like a Virgin' is about. It's all about this cooze who's a regular fuck machine, I'm talking morning, day, night, afternoon, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick." - Mr. Brown

"
How many dicks is that?" - Mr. Blue

"
A lot." - Mr. White

"
Then one day she meets this John Holmes motherfucker and it's like, whoa baby, I mean this cat is like Charles Bronson in the 'Great Escape', he's digging tunnels. Now, she's gettin' the serious dick action and she's feeling something she ain't felt since forever. Pain. Pain." - Mr. Brown

"
Chew? Toby Chew? " - Joe

"
It hurts her. It shouldn't hurt her, you know, her pussy should be Bubble Yum by now, but when this cat fucks her it hurts. It hurts just like it did the first time. You see the pain is reminding a fuck machine what it once was like to be a virgin. Hence, 'Like a Virgin'." - Mr. Brown

"
Wong?" - Joe

Something nice to look at...

ah a guy pic spam, yep hahaha! Need something nice to look at! So Mums been getting me to watch her CSI's and well considering the eye candy, can't complain at all!

So on regular CSI you get George Eads as Nick Stokes and Eric Szmanda as Greg Sanders, mmmm.

Gosh check out George Eads here, you could eat off that!

Oh YESSS

Isn't Eric just sooo insanely adorable???!!

Now Mum has the major hots for David Caruso AKA Hortio on CSI: Miami, I however prefer Jonathan Togo aka Ryan

I need more pictures of him!

Then there is CSI: NY, Mum loves her Gary Sinise, but we often argue over Mr Eddie Cahill, he is one sexifed man! GIMME! He is going to father my children

Ahh I feel much better now!

So the deal is....

I know whats wrong with me now, finally someone decided to actually investigate everything and get down to the bottom of whats wrong. I guess if you wanna know more, just check out This Page

Didn't really have the best week, was in so much pain, felt extremely run down, and things at work were just all over the place. Had things going on most days as well, we had a really nice birthday dinner for Mum and John on Wednesday. Mum left for Melbourne on Thursday night, and she'll be back Wednesday morning. So I'm here alone, and it is awfully boring. I got no transport, and the weather is pretty horrid to go out in when you only have buses to rely on so. Doubtful anyone will visit, Dad was supposed to call and stop past and yep you guess it, didn't phone or come by. Haven't actually had any calls today, Mum will probably ring at some stage though.

Mmm did I mention I got a hell of a lot of burns at work all during the week? The worst one is on my arm, it is right above an old burn scar. Got some nasty steam burns on my fingers too, yeah wasn't the best week.

And after not having a migraine for weeks I feel like I am coming down with one too. Although it could have to do with the fact that after like 7 years I've gone off the pill, just getting the lovely aunt flow right now, so that is probably contributing.

*sigh* yeah I had to rant and get my feelings out. Perhaps I'll do a hot guys pic spam to cheer myself up later lol

He Was A Quiet Man

4/5

I had seen the trailer for this ages ago, and I thought it looked interesting, although now I barely remember the trailer, I went into this not knowing much about it at all, just that it had Christian Slater in it. Now I really don't want to give anything away as this works so well going into it not knowing much. Basically all you need to know is Christian Slater plays Bob, a guy who no one really notices, till that one day comes and he does. Slater is quite simply something else here, ignore his bad roles, he is really darn GOOD in this! He really inhabits the role of Bob, there were times I didn't even recognise Christan Slater. Elisha Cuthbert is also really good, although her gorgeous looks are always a distaction. And William H. Macy is always good, no matter how big or small the role. This is quite a good little film, and it will keep you thinking long after you see it.

Iron Man

(Only taken me a week to actually write a small review)

4/5

What can I say about Iron Man? Well it is a great and fun film! It pretty much hits all the right spots, which isn't something a lot of comic book adaptions are known for. This one however I'm glad to report does it right. And seriously what a spot on job casting Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark/Iron Man, I mean he's probably the last person you'd expect to play a 'superhero' type, and yet he does it so well. This was meant for him, and he really I think has proven himself. Everyone else involved is good, I felt the characters of Pepper and Rhodes were underwritten, but Paltrow and Howard did what they could I liked them. Jeff Bridges really relished in playing Obadiah, he was really good. I think comic book fans and people not familiar with them will like this a lot, it has such a wide appeal, and it is actually good stuff.

An American Crime

4.5/5

This is quite possibly one of the more disturbing and heart breaking films you are likely to see. Based on the real events (They based a lot of it on the actual trial transcripts) of Sylvia, a young girl sent to live with a family who end up torturing her. The Prosecuter of the actual case has stated that it was the most terrible crime committed in the State of Indiana, and I have to say you can't seem to argue that point. The film stars Catherine Keener (Who was reluctant to take on the role) as Gertrude Baniszewski the housewife who took in Sylvia and her sister and 'punishes' Sylvia. Sylvia is played by Ellen Page, I think the look and innocence of Page just makes the viewing all that much more difficult when you see all the suffering she goes through. Both put on such strong and amazing performances, lesser actors I don't think could have done this. As I had already read a lot about the actual case, I knew what to expect, and it is actually tonned down a bit, but watching it unfold isn't easy to watch and it is rather disturbing, knowing it really happened and that there are people like this out there. The film (and novel) The Girl Next Door is based on this true story, and is quite similar, although that is more graphic, and it is just as strong and disturbing as this. Not for the faint of heart, but if you can manage it, I'd highly recommend this film.

Makin lasagna!

So today after work me and Mum made lasagna for Mother's Day lunch tomorrow. Made from scratch, Mum made the sauces and we made the sheets together and then put it all together! And with the left overs we got some pasta for this evenings dinner. Check out the photos below.

Lacking...

Well I got my blood test results on Thursday, and I am lacking vitamin d, so I have to have some dose of it and see if it helps bring the levels up. I'll have to have another blood test in like 3 or 4 weeks to see what the levels are like.

Pretty weird week, felt like all I did was work. Anytime I spent at home was doing website stuff, and I kept falling asleep so early then not being able to get back to sleep the rest of the night and then feeling so tired and drained. Its quite horrible when you feel like that. I've wanted to catch up on some shows and haven't had a chance. Least I got presents sorted for Mothers Day and Mums birthday and I got a present for Rachel for hers. Not sure what Johns getting as yet.

So Mums off to Melbourne on Thursday night, leaving me alone till Wednesday, can't say I like the thought of being home alone for that long. Safety issues and all. I dunno if my brother will come and spend a night here or not, but meh if anyone wants to keep me company feel free.

Gosh I haven't watched a full movie for quite some time either, I really hope to catch Iron Man this weekend, but knowing my luck it wont happen *sigh*

Gotta be at work in a few hours, so not in the mood. Already worked 5 days straight, heres day 6, meh.

All the latest...

Been meaning to blog for a few days but things just kept coming up as they do.

Had an okay week, work was busyish for the most part, always had something I had to do. Still got tomorrow as well, only a few hours which is good. I made a few more jewelery pieces at the start of the week. Two more bracelets, and two pairs of earrings. Really pretty too, I have good taste in beads hehe.

I basically finished the website I've been making for work, I put a lot of time and effort into it. Doesn't seem like they care all too much, which is a bit crappy. I've started work on another web page, and at least it feels like I'm doing a good job so far and what I'm doing is being appreciated. There is a lot to do but I've at least started and am playing around with it a bit. I want to make sure it is really good and what they want. We all have an idea of what we want on there, just need to get some more details and photos. It should be really nice.

Went to the doctors yesterday, got my pap smear results, all good, don't have to go again for two years which is good. Kind of sucks having done it in December and because they couldn't get results had to redo it two weeks ago. I also had a blood test, checking a few things, see if it might shed any light on my back problems. Also I got the flu vaccine and damn, my arm still hurts and it might still hurt for another 48hrs! At least I wont catch a killer flu, I should have got the shot last year but didn't. Doctor gave me a script for a medication to take for migraines, so hopefully that works out alright. Got another massage tomorrow, looking forward to that, last weeks went really well. Hopefully my back will improve a bit more, I already feel a bit better but it needs quite a bit of work, and at some stage I'll need to see the Chiropractor.

So what could put a downer on the week? Insurance Mum got for the car and house, like a month ago right, apparently they don't actually bill you for it straight away and instead decided to take the money for it this week, taking all of Mums pension for the fortnight plus extra! So basically we're in a very tight spot for money and everything I make basically has to go to Rent for us both and then basics like food and petrol, things will be a bit tight for a few weeks. And Mums off to Melbourne on the 16th which is also her birthday, going to see sis Rachel and enjoy a great party to celebrate Rachels birthday, house warming and engagement. Sounds like it'll be awesome, but *sigh* I'm staying behind. Besides not really being able to afford a trip at the moment, I can't afford to have any time off work and someone needs to look after the pets. Especially Toby, with him being on two sets of medication and the fact he loves to refuse to take it, its a bit much to ask someone to look after him.

In time I'll have my little holiday, something to look forward to!

Well thats my rant for now, hopefully tomorrow will be a good day!
