Tests....

So today I had a few tests at the hospital as ordered by the specialist. These are to find out why I have high blood pressure, see what is causing it.

I had a blood test, and I have to say I've had a lot of blood tests and some of them were painless, some not so painless. But crapola, this one from this morning was torture! It hurt like hell, the nurse didn't put the needle in the usual spot either. The blood was hardly coming out, and I was stuck there for awhile. She was bitching I hadn't had anything to drink which was bull, I had drank ALOT this morning, to compensate for the fact I had to fast. I have no idea what she did, but it still hurts, even though I had it done nearly 6 hours ago and I am really bruised there. NASTY!

I then had an ultra sound around my kidneys as well as some chest x-rays. The ultra sound revealed something was a bit off with my adrenal gland, and that could possibly be a factor with the high blood pressure. I still have to have the ECG, which I will do next week.

I get the full results on the 31st and find out everything and then the next step will be how to go about it. So with any luck in the coming weeks I can treat this and will get better and the high blood pressure will be a thing of the past.

Now it is just playing the waiting game till the 31st, but it isn't that long so here's hoping things can get sorted out.
