Alone With Her

4/5

Not really sure what to say about this one. Sure the story is nothing new, a creepy dude stalks a some what lonely chick. But what sets this one aside from the rest is the way in which it was filmed. We see this entirely from the point of view of the stalker, from his hidden cameras, as he watches her. Not just in sections, for the entire film, whether the camera be one he's hidden in a bag, one he has hidden on him, or the numerous cameras he has hidden around her victims apartment. It is actually quite disturbing watching it, you really feel like you are invading someone's privacy, its really creepy. You really get to know the victim, and you feel for her and you just know things are going to keep getting worse. You see as the stalker (Played pretty darn chilling by Colin Hanks) slowly gets himself into her life, he toys with her life, twisting things around so he can come to her rescue, which leads her to start to fall for him. You really feel scared her for (Played to perfection by Ana Claudia Talancon), and it is really hard to actually watch. It isn't a long running film, the way it is presented I don't think it can be. This is really hard to watch, I'd have a hard time recommending this too. I think the way it was done, made it all too real. Our two leads put in some convincing performances which made it seem all the more real. This is a good movie that I don't think I'd be able to watch again.
