New US Trailer for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Source: Yahoo! Movies

Finally, a US trailer for Terry Gilliams upcoming film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus has hit the interwebs, and I have it here for you to check out.

The film contains the final performance of the late Heath Ledger who passed while filming. The film’s future remained uncertain until Gilliam got Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell to take over in the role, playing the character of Tony in different transformations. The film also stars Christopher Plummer and Tom Waits.

Personally I think this looks like it will be a great film, and it will be sad to see Heath’s final performance. Gilliam can be a very hit or miss director, but he has given me one of my all time favourite films 12 Monkeys and I will certainly give any film of his a fair go.

The film synopsis credit of imdb: The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present day. It tells the story of Dr Parnassus and his extraordinary ‘Imaginarium’, a travelling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom.
