Anchor Bay has released some new stills from the I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE remake. The film is set for release later this year on October 8th. With that only being a few months away, it seems only fitting to be getting some new visuals from the film. It recently was screened at Fantasia Film Festival, where Chris Bumbray had to chance to check it and review it.
The original film was a brutal and raw film, in the popular genre (in the 70's anyway) of rape/revenge. The premise of the film can dredge up all sorts of nasty imagery. A writer who is brutalized during her cabin retreat seeks revenge on her attackers, who left her for dead.
Director Steven Monroe has promised this will be just as raw and brutal as the original. Judging by one of the stills below, I would like to think he has delivered on that promise. Check out the stills below.

SPILLED BLOOD: The director of the original film Meir Zarchi, is actually a producer on the remake.
